On July 18, 2026, the China (Sichuan)-Thailand Investment and Economic Forum, themed "Green Industry · Digital Future," grandly opened at the Tianfu International Conference Center in Chengdu. The forum was hosted by the Thailand Board of Investment (BOI) and supported by the Sichuan Provincial Foreign Affairs Office, Department of Commerce, and Council for the Promotion of International Trade. Thai Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul led a delegation of senior cabinet officials and over 100 prominent Thai business representatives to Sichuan.
