Mengding Ganlu Wins Gold, Headed to the National Stage
The gold-medal-winning "Wuben Mengding Ganlu" cultural creative product draws its packaging inspiration directly from the modern-day "Qianli Jiangshan Tu" landscape at Qilong Village in Hongxing Town, Mingshan District. The design integrates cascading tea terraces, a bullet train gliding through, and mountain mist into the visual system. The outer packaging uses a premium dark-green hard gift box with multi-layered hollow-cut craftsmanship, vividly recreating the rolling green tea mountains, rising mist, and speeding train. Tea leaves are sourced from high-altitude ecological tea gardens on Mengding Mountain - tender buds producing clear, refreshing liquor. Each box is portioned into 4-gram sachets with a total net weight of 228 grams. Qiao Qiong, General Manager of Sichuan Mengding Mountain Wuben Tea Industry Co., Ltd., shared her vision: "Qianli Jiangshan Tu is a gift from heaven to Mingshan. Only by rooting in the local land and drawing nourishment from native culture can we create products with soul." On August 12, Mingshan District's Media Center confirmed that the award-winning product will represent Sichuan Province at the National Tourism Commodities Competition.
Panda Tea Tray Wins Silver - Baoxing's Intangible Heritage Honors the Panda's Hometown
The silver-medal "Yiwo Panda - Panda Slow Life Tea Tray Series" was created by the Baoxing Meishi Meike Craftsman Workshop, designed by Li Dagang, an Intangible Cultural Heritage inheritor of Muping Wailang Inkstone. The collection innovatively combines local Wailang stone and white marble from Baoxing, exploiting the natural color and texture differences of the two stones to create visual depth. Metal inlay craftsmanship enhances the product's elegance. The conceptualized panda element design, combined with marquetry techniques, brings together panda culture, tea culture, and stone carving culture into a single piece. Suitable for use as a tea tray, fruit plate, or coffee tray, it weaves Baoxing's unique panda culture and stone-carving heritage into everyday life. Baoxing, as the world's first scientific discovery site of the giant panda and the "Panda's Hometown," sees this award as a vivid practice of bringing intangible heritage to life and transforming cultural resources into cultural products.

Panda Tea: Telling the Story of the Panda's Hometown Through Ecological Tea and Cultural Tea
Rooted in the core panda habitat on Mengding Mountain in Ya'an, Panda Tea is an ecological tea brand that adheres to a strict zero-fertilizer, zero-pesticide cultivation model and pioneered the patented "Panda Manure Fertilization Panda Tea" technology - deeply integrating the national treasure giant panda with millennia-old tea culture. Founder Mr. An Yanshi has infused the brand with a distinctive cultural DNA through his environmental Chinese-character panda calligraphy and paintings, making Panda Tea not only an ecological tea, but a cultural tea and an intellectual property tea. With Mengding Ganlu heading to the national competition and Baoxing's panda tea tray winning silver, the "Panda + Tea" dual IP of Ya'an is reaching a wider audience in more vibrant product forms. Panda Tea will continue to bridge cultures through tea, allowing this ecological good tea from the panda's hometown to spread its fragrance across China and the world.
