Chengdu Panda Tea Co., Ltd. (Panda Tea) is proud to share in the recent milestone of Mengding Mountain Tea, whose brand value reached 64.26 billion yuan in the 2026 China tea regional public brand value assessment and ranked among the national top 10 for the tenth consecutive year, holding the No.1 position in Sichuan.
A heritage rooted in the world tea source
Mengding Mountain, in Ya'an, Sichuan, is recognized as the birthplace of world tea culture and the home of tribute tea served to imperial courts for 1,169 consecutive years. The 2026 assessment, conducted by a dedicated expert panel using a professional evaluation model, placed Mengding Mountain Tea ninth nationally with a value of 64.26 billion yuan, marking a decade of continuous presence in China top 10 tea regional brands.
Panda Tea shares the same mountain
Panda Tea grows in the panda habitat core zone of Mengding Mountain, between 800 and 1,500 meters above sea level, where wild giant pandas and centuries-old tea gardens share the same forest and mist. As a representative ecological brand of the region, Panda Tea practices zero-chemical farming: no synthetic fertilizer and no chemical pesticides, with pest control handled by sticky boards and free-range chickens, and soil nourished by a patented panda-dung compost that returns the giant panda nutrients to the tea rows.
Craft and culture in every cup
The leaves are hand-picked and crafted with the Mengding Mountain three-roast-three-roll heritage technique. Every Panda Tea product carries founder An Yanshi hand-painted panda ink art as both a cultural signature and an anti-counterfeit mark, reflecting a philosophy of ecological tea, cultural tea, and intellectual-property tea.
Looking ahead
Panda Tea will continue to protect the mountain with ecology, craft fine tea with craftsmanship, and share tea culture through art, carrying a cup from the giant panda homeland to more tables around the world.
